Isotrak welcomes industry to the HGV Fleet Forum – Geo: International

Following the huge success of the LCV Fleet Forum in February 2012, vehicle tracking and telematics specialist Isotrak will be hosting the HGV equivalent on 28th June at Catthorpe Manor, near Lutterworth.

The HGV Fleet Forum will welcome James Hookham from the FTA (Freight Transport Association), who will be offering an insight into the benefits of longer trailers, Kirsty Cooper of Robert Wiseman Dairies, who will be providing an overview of Spy in Cab, and driver and union reaction to the implementation of such technology. Terry Skelton from Turners of Soham will be discussing telematics and driving style, Darragh O Dwyer from Arla Foods will be exploring the benefits EPoD has had to the Arla operation. Jack Semple of the RHA (Road Haulage Association) will also be in attendance to offer a view on the impact of industry legislation and the new Euro 6 standard.

Alongside the forum will be a partner expo area which will be attended by logistics mobile solutions provider Kratzer Automation, enterprise mobility software company Airclic, asset management solutions providers Ryzex, hardware producer Honeywell, real time despatch solutions provider DA Systems, logistics solutions provider Enterprise Software, and the suppliers of the complete on-demand vehicle maintenance and compliance system R2C.

Isotrak Fleet Forums are a recognised industry event. The forums take a round table format, chaired by Isotrak s Jon Hannah, and are designed to bring together operations and logistics personnel from leading UK hauliers, retailers and manufacturers to discuss issues pertinent to their industry and their respective businesses, and ways in which they can be overcome. The forums present a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into the obstacles faced by similar organisations and to share experiences with the group through contribution to agenda topics.

The day will run from 9.30am 4.00pm with an agenda packed with key speakers, group discussion and the opportunity to network with industry colleagues and peers during break periods and lunch in the expo area.
