Volvo Trucks France is using the stopover in Lorient as the backdrop for a two-day dealer conference. Each of the days of the conference, which is being held in a former submarine base in Lorient, will be attended by some 250 dealer staff.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss Volvo Trucks Customer Company vision. One important part of the vision is to work with the customer promises. This involves designing plans within seven different areas, such as Right the first time, Open dialog and Warm welcome, which will help Volvo Trucks to become an even better company for customers to do business with.
The conference will be attended by staff from Volvo Truck Centers and private dealerships in France. Participants are divided into smaller groups to discuss the different areas and they are tasked with deciding upon one action for each of the seven areas to implement in the year ahead.
We then use an IT-based system to keep track of what the customer thinks of us and the changes we are making, says Jean-Noel Thenault, Managing Director of Volvo Trucks France.
