FedEx raising prices for freight shipments
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — FedEx Corp. is raising prices for North American freight shipments by 6.9 percent, a standard annual increase that’s effective July 9.
This rate hike applies to FedEx Freight shipments within the U.S. and Canada and between the countries. It will also apply to the U.S. portion of shipments to and from Mexico.
FedEx ‘s fuel surcharge, the fee it passes on to customers based on the price of gas, remains unchanged.
FedEx previously raised shipping rates for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground , on Jan. 2.
